Hydraulic System Maintenance & Machine work for the Williamsburg and Surry and the operating systems for the transfer bridges. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components, parts and materials on the hydraulic steering systems on the M/V Williamsburg, M/V Surry and the hydraulic operating systems for the five (5) ramps/transfer bridges at the Jamestown Scotland Ferry. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From Start Date on Notice of Award through two (2) years (renewable). Any questions regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be addressed to Rhonda Tharrington at rhonda.tharrington@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5 business days prior to bid close date.
