LOCATION OF WORK : The Northside Recreation Area is approximately 36.4 acres located East of Denison High School. It includes five soccer fields, two softball fields, one baseball field, fringe areas, parking lots and banks. Contractor shall submit a lump sum price to provide materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to mow and trim, in accordance with the specifications set forth. SITE VISIT : Bidders are advised to visit the site and familiarize themselves with the conditions and area and to gather all other information necessary to complete the project in its entirety. Base Bid includes: HIGH MAINTENANCE AREAS All playing fields (approximately 20 acres) Mowing to maintain grass length from 3" to 4.5" Trimming around fences as needed MEDIUM MAINTENANCE AREAS Fringe areas and parking lots (approximately 10.4acres) Mowing and trimming as needed. LOW MAINTENANCE AREAS Banks (approximately 6 acres) Mowing and trimming as needed. FERTILIZE AND WEED CONTROL AS REQUIRED OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES & SUPERVISION Communicate with Denison High School Activities Director & City of Denison Parks & Recreation Director regarding mowing schedules.
