Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pt Orange, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a one-story above grade recreation facility.
The project scope includes the phased new construction of a long and a short motocross track, recreational vehicle lot, restroom and concession buildings as well as a pro shop or training facility on 27 acres to the south and east of the road. Scope details have not been finalized. As of February 27, 2024 the project is in early planning stage. County Council heard a feasibility study presentation on February 20, 2024. Additional information was requested by the council. A county or a pubic private partnership may coordinate the development. Information regarding the architect, general contractor and method of selection has not been disclosed.
