Renovation of a stadium in Maxville, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Replacement of the ice surface, the dasher boards and certain components. Ice surface floor to integrate with existing refrigeration plant. Part A. New ice surface and accompanying components such as: Arena ice surface floor, replacement of dasher boards and glass, net surround, refrigeration piping under surface, rink board system including glass, reconfiguration of players' benches & equipment for timekeepers box, replacement of intake exhaust fans, rubber matting from entrance between arena lobby door to dasher boards and between players rooms door to dasher boards. Part B. Fire Prevention Components include: Fire alarms, pull station, emergency lighting & heat sensors. TIMELINE: Project has been placed on hold. Construction costs came in over budget, cost savings & government funding are being sought. Updates may be available late, 2025.
