HMA Pavement 5 LT 58-28 S (Roadway) 840 Ton Adjusting Manhole Covers 11 Each Adjusting Water Valves 13 Each Alternate 1: Mill, Shape, & Overlay 8' trail with 2" HMA 1,500 L.F Alternate 2: Mill, Shape, & Overlay Basketball Court with 2" HMA 280 S.Y. Said work shall be in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by the City of River Falls Engineering Department. The project Scope of Work generally includes but is not limited to the following: a. Milling of asphalt pavements and overlaying with hot mix asphalt of various streets throughout the City of River Falls as shown in Appendix F. b. All streets will receive a 1 3/4 " mill and overlay. c. Under the base bid, millings shall become property of the Owner and be hauled from the project area to a City owned parcel adjacent to the City's Wastewater Treatment Facility as the "Deliver Asphalt Millings to City" bid item. Conditions of "Earthwork (A)(2)" in Appendix A apply. d. Patching deteriorated portions of streets to be overlaid and other miscellaneous streets or pathways within the City as directed by Engineer. This patching shall consist of: 1) Saw cutting the edges of marked removal area. 2) Removing existing asphalt pavement. 3) Tacking edges of patch. 4) Replacing removed asphalt surface with new bituminous asphalt. 5) Tack coat. 6) Adjustment of miscellaneous manhole and gate valve castings when so ordered by engineer. 7) Placement of a 1 3/4 " asphalt pavement wear course over existing road surface on mill and overlay streets. 8) Traffic control. e. Epoxy pavement markings per WisDOT Standard 646: 1) Match existing pavement markings on Paulson Road. 2) Mark pavement on Riverside Drive from the intersection with Paulson Road going east 180', adding new markings including crosswalk lines, a stop bar, right and left turn arrows, a double yellow centerline, and a solid white turn lane.
