Question Cutt off Date & Time 3/5/2024 06:00:00 PM (ET) The City of Kirkwood (hereafter noted as "the City") is requesting sealed proposals for Ice Rink Chiller Maintenance. Qualified Firms (hereafter noted as "Firm") are invited to submit sealed proposals to provide Ice Rink Chiller Maintenance for the City of Kirkwood in accordance with the specifications contained herein. General information and instructions to respondents are contained herein. All questions pertaining to this opportunity must be asked via Electronically. The City is not permitted to answer any questions regarding a solicitation via Email or Phone. No Faxed, Hand Delivered, Mailed, or Emailed Responses will be accepted. This contract shall include all parts, labor, and materials needed to maintain listed equipment in proper operating condition at all times. CONTRACTOR must ensure that the equipment will meet EPA standards. All equipment shall be maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations by qualified, certified personnel, familiar with ice rink systems (minimum 5 years' experience). The same personnel should be responsible for maintaining the system throughout the life of the contract. The following services should be performed as outlined: Quarterly Duties Inspect system pumps Inspect cooling tower Inspect condensers Tighten electrical connections at equipment Lubricate all motors and bearings, tighten or change fan belts Adjust, inspect, and calibrate all safety and operating controls Furnish a report, which details the condition of the mechanical system and identifies areas of concern. Yearly Duties The following items should be completed during planned annual shutdown or agreed to time: Yearly inspection of Mycom Compressors to include opening of crankcase to check for bearing clearance and other indicators of excessive wear. Replace failed and worn parts as necessary to insure optimum operating efficiency throughout the year. Clean cooling tower Spectrographic oil analysis where applicable. Perform Megger test on all electrical motors. Infra-red inspection of electrical systems. Change dryer cores and replace oil in compressors. A complete report of maintenance work completed should be submitted to the City. List of Covered Equipment 1. Three (3) Mycom F4WB compressors model #C-6-W04F 2.
