Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oak Brook, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project overview: The work to be done for this project, shown on the Drawings entitled, "Heritage Garden Improvements at Mays lake Forest Preserve," prepared by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County dated February 27, 2024, consists of preparation of landscape beds, installation of over 3,500 perennial plants of various sizes, installation of 80 woody plants, turf restoration and installation of stone pavers and edging Questions shall be directed to Jon Melin at jmelin@dupageforest.org The bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid security. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act,820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. The contractor shall also abide by the employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act(30 ILCS 570, sec 1-7). Consideration of contract award will likely be made onTuesday, April 16, 2024. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right toreject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
