Excavation for and installation of a 130 LF H-Pile Retaining Wall with 4 deadman caissons and 5 tieback anchors, 27 drilled shafts, concrete in shafts and tie backs, precast concrete lagging, steel piling, splicing and installation, 130 LF of 10ft. The Kanawha County Parks & Recreation Commission will consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids DAVIS-BACON ACT Davis-Bacon (Federal) Prevailing Wage Determinations must be used in addition to any State prevailing wage rates. The contractor shall use the higher rate for each job classification (between State wage rates and Davis-Bacon wage rates) for paying labor employed in the construction of this project. COPELAND "ANTIKICKBACK" ACT Bidders on this work will be required to comply with 18 U.S.C. 874, 40 U.S.C. 3145, and the requirements of 29 C.F.R. Part 3 as may be applicable. CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS ACT Bidders on this work will be required to comply with statutory requirements on work hours and safety standards. Under 40 U.S.C. 3702, each contractor must base wages for every mechanic and laborer on a standard 40-hour work week. Work over 40 hours is allowed, so long as the worker is paid at least one and a half times the base pay rate for all hours worked over 40 hours in the work week.
