Reference Number 00003936455 His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), is planning to issue a Request for Bids (RFB) for the Design, Build, Operation and Maintenance of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. If the procurement opportunity were to proceed, the opportunity will be available through the Ontario Tenders Portal (OTP), the electronic tendering system used by the province of Ontario. MTO is targeting the competitive procurement to be posted on March 27, 2024. Potential bidders wishing to respond to this opportunity will be required to register through the OTP. The Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, have identified fifteen (15) sites in total where the EV chargers will be deployed at government-owned properties along key provincial travel corridors and destinations, in rural and northern areas of Ontario, including highway rest areas, provincial parks and carpool lots. Scope of Work The Ministries will select a single Vendor to act as charge point operator to design, build/install, operate and maintain a public-facing electric vehicle charging solution consisting of o Level 2 AC Chargers o Direct Current Fast Charge (DCFC) chargers o Backend and frontend operations and maintenance
