Reference Number 0000265393 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/03/15 11:59:00 PM EDT York is inviting qualified Proponents to supply and install interior signs following the pre-established York University Interior Signage Standards Manual. Even though a standard exists for the interior signage, special conditions may arise. These conditions and situations shall be handled individually and shall use the current standards as a guideline. Shall a new sign type be introduced, the Selected Proponent will be required to develop detailed manufacturing shop drawings and installation specifications based on the preliminary design drawings provided by York. In addition, from time to time the Selected Proponent will be required to manufacture and install custom signage including but not limited to metal and acrylic letters and plaques; vinyl graphics for applications on brick or concrete interior walls, glazing and other surfaces; as well as free standing award and/or donor recognition signage or similar. The Selected Proponents ability, capacity to design and fabricate custom illuminated indoor signs and other creative pieces will be an asset. The extent of this requirement is minimal at this stage with anticipated growth as new buildings are constructed and become operational. York intends to select and establish one (1) Proponent as the Vendor of Record for the term indicated in the RFP document. 1. Commercial General Liability Insurance against third party bodily injury (including death), personal injury and broad form property damage (including loss of use) and including products and completed operations liability and blanket contractual liability for an amount of not less than five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence. Such insurance shall include a cross liability and severability of interests clause and an endorsement naming York University, its governors, trustees, officers and employees as an Additional Insured; 2. Standard automobile insurance for all vehicles owned, licensed or leased by the Selected Proponent and non-owned automobile insurance, where required, for an amount of not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000.00) per occurrence for each type of coverage. Where the non-owned automobile insurance coverage is provided within a general liability policy, a separate policy is not required; and 3. Such other types of insurance as a prudent person would carry or as York may from time to time require, having regard for the nature of the work and its location.
