Harris County is soliciting bids for the construction of pickleball courts at Russ Poppe Family Park, I.T. May Park and Meyer Park for Precinct 3. The project will consist of, but not limited to, furnishing all personnel, supervision, labor, equipment, materials and incidentals necessary to construct pickleball courts, sidewalks and canopy pads. The project will also require necessary drainage improvements, provide storm water pollution prevention measures, and sodding all disturbed areas, all complete, operational in place in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Pre-bid meeting info : The pre-bid conference will not be rescheduled due to tardiness or any other issues that may arise, no exceptions. The County requires Vendors to make a good faith effort to meet or exceed a 19.33% goal for participation by M/WBEs on this project. In addition, the vendor must comply with Texas Government Code (GC) 2258, Prevailing Wage Rates, and GC 2253.021, Performance and Payment Bonds. As well, GC 2253.021, Performance and Payment Bonds, requires the vendor to provide a payment bond on all public works jobs that exceed $25,000, and a performance bond on all public works jobs that exceed $100,000.
