Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marcellus, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Pavement overlay on Burney from Main to Read Streets, reconstruction of Read Street, paving of parking lots at Metalcasters, Faith Plastics, and the fire station (1,820 tons of HMA), installation of 975 linear feet of storm sewer, 15,730 sf of concrete work, detention basins, rain gardens, and various appurtenances. Owner Rights: The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged. Bond Notes: A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. Estimated budget is between $500-700k. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
