RFP D/B - Design/build of K-9 Facility (Step 1) Any questions you may have regarding this L.O.I. can be sent via email to mmachuca@coralsprings.gov. The last day to submit questions will be Monday, March 11, 2024 by 5:00p.m. The City is requesting qualification statements from qualified Design/Build firms capable of providing all necessary but not limited to construction documents for permitting purposes, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision to construction a concrete masonry building for both the exterior and interior buildout to house the Coral Springs Police Department K-9 Unit. The project location will be at 4200 N.W. 121 st Ave., Coral Springs, Florida. The Coral Springs Police Department intention is to have its own K-9 facility to board the Police K-9 Unit and not have utilize an offsite location. The building will serve as a central hub for training, housing, grooming, and maintaining the Police K-9 Unit. The equipment and amenities are to be tailored to K-9 facilities to properly care for the Police K-9 Unit.
