As of March 27, 2025, this project has bid for six park projects and construction is either underway or upcoming. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio intends to contract for Architectural/Engineering Design Services in connection to the City of Youngstown Citywide Park Improvements. Request for Qualifications are available from the Department of Public Works via email nbrooks@youngstownohio.gov , or phone 330-742-8803. The project is being funded through American Rescue Plan. American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding projects require general contractors to comply with specific requirements that are outlined in the RFQ. Responding firms shall be evaluated and ranked in accordance with ORC Section 153.69 by personnel of the City of Youngstown Public Works Department. The City of Youngstown Public Works Department shall enter into negotiations with the most highly ranked firm(s) based on an evaluation of the Statement of Qualifications. The consultant selection rating form and corresponding notes are provided in the Request for Qualifications. Description of Project: Recreational Facility Planning and Design Civil Site Design as needed. Public Swimming Pool Design Experience as needed. Athletic Facility Design Experience State of Ohio Registration Architect and or Professional Engineer Licensing Required The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
