The City of San Diego, Public Utilities Department (PUD), Wastewater division is soliciting bids for a Contractor to perform Vibration Analysis of Rotating Equipment, as may be required Payment and Performance Bond. Prior to the execution of this Contract, City may require Contractor to post a payment and performance bond (Bond). The Bond shall guarantee Contractor's faithful performance of this Contract and assure payment to contractors, subcontractors, and to persons furnishing goods and/or services under this Contract. The Bond shall be in a sum equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the Contract amount, unless otherwise stated in the Specifications. City may file a claim against the Bond if Contractor fails or refuses to fulfill the terms and provisions of the Contract Commercial Automobile Liability. Insurance Services Office Form Number CA 0001 covering Code 1 (any auto) or, if Contractor has no owned autos, Code 8 (hired) and 9 (non-owned), with limit no less than $1,000,000 per accident for bodily injury and property damage Workers' Compensation. Insurance as required by the State of California, with Statutory Limits, and Employer's Liability Insurance with limit of no less than $1,000,000 per accident for bodily injury or disease Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions). For consultant contracts, insurance appropriate to Consultant's profession, with limit no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence or claim, $2,000,000 aggregate the City reserves the right to rescind the Contract award and to make the award to the next responsive and responsible proposer of bidder..
