Renovation of a library in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Subject to conditions prescribed by the CM/Contractor, PCL Construction Services, Inc., sealed bids for Lump Sum construction subcontracts are invited from prequalified Subcontractors (hereinafter "Bidder") for the following project: PROJECT DESCRIPTION Upgrade the existing HVAC systems of the originally constructed portion of Geisel Library by replacement/refurbishment of the existing air handling units and other mechanical infrastructure. This will primarily be accomplished though conversion of the existing dual duct design by addition of a heating hot water loop and VAV's with heating coils. This project also includes minor structural/seismic retrofit consisting of new concrete wall openings and fiber reinforced polymers (FRP). The projects estimated construction duration is 672 calendar days. BID RFI'S Any questions related to the bid and or the bid documents shall be submitted in writing in the form of an RFI. All RFI's are to be emailed to Mike Gibbons at mgibbons@pcl.com. The deadline to submit RFI's is Tuesday March 12th, 2024, by 4:00PM.
