The Project consists of construction of new parking lots including excavation, grading, curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt pavement, striping, and landscaping. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make awards in the best interests of the Owner. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to Matt Robertson, mattr@jonescivil.com no later than 5:00 pm on March 1, 2024. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing no later than 72 hours in advance of the opening of Bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
