The project is located on Lower Silver Lake Road from NW Vail Avenue to NW Taylor Street. Q And A Open2/29/2024 2:31:00 AM Q And A Close3/14/2024 10:30:00 PM DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR UNITS OF WORK: 12,908 square yard of mill and overly of existing asphalt pavement, 450 square yard of full depth patching, 270 square yard of asphalt pavement, 21,120 linear feet of pavement marking and miscellaneous other items of work. BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be in the office of Contracts and Procurement before the 2:00 pm closing time on the bid date. Liquidated Damages. Provisions for liquidated damages are set forth in the Agreement. Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who does not pass any such evaluation to Owner's satisfaction. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documentsshall be submitted only through the City of Topeka's e-Procurement System
