Pulte Development Corporation (Pulte) is seeking a qualified Contractors to provide to complete construction services for the drilling and installation of the Desert Oasis Well No.3 Equipping and Well Transmission Main Extension Project in Surprise, Arizona. Pulte will be the contracting agency and the City of Surprise (City) will own and operate the facilities after final acceptance. Clear Creek will be the hydrologist preparing the plans, specifications, and reports for the project. Clear Creek will obtain the necessary construction document approvals from agencies prior to construction. Proposals received after that time will not be considered and will be returned without opening to the submitter. All submittals shall be clearly marked and provide the respondent s name and address, the title of the project, the time and date the proposals are to be received. Proposals will be opened and recorded by Clear Creek and the results will be shared with all Bidders though the Notice of Award / Notice of Declination Process once the proposal due date has passed Contractors must obtain a Request for Bid Package prior to submitting a Proposal. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier s check or surety bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid included in the proposal as a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract to perform the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other statute, the surety bond shall be executed solely by a surety company or companies holding a certificate of authority to transact surety business in this state issued by the director of the department of insurance pursuant to title 20, chapter 2, article 1. The surety bond shall not be executed by an individual surety or sureties, even if the requirements of 7 101 are satisfied. The certified check, cashier s check or surety bond shall be returned to the contractors whose proposals are not accepted, and to the successful contractor upon the execution of a satisfactory bond and contract as provided in this article. By submitting a bid for this project, the bidder acknowledges that they have, at a minimum met the requirements set forth in the Request for Bid Package, including but not limited to, PulteGroup Insurance Requirements, Scope of Work, General Specifications, etc. Developer reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and/or withhold the award for any reason.
