Description of Work: This is a Prevailing Wage Project. 2,481 S.F. interior tenant improvement from a bookstore to a multi-use study and events area. Work will include new walls, ceilings, mill-work, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. Renovate existing space to create one office, three conference rooms and open flex space; Provide labor and material to 2201 W. College Parkway to complete the remodel of an existing room. This work will include but is not limited to: Suspended ceiling elements, fire suppression modifications, plumbing, lighting and electrical upgrades, data upgrades, A/V installation, wall construction, flooring, casework additions, and finish upgrades. Question Deadline 03/08/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Bid (Security) Bond: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond duly completed on an acceptable form by a guaranty company authorized to carry on business in the State of Nevada and with an A. M. Best rating of at least A-, in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the sum of the total amount bid, including any options. Said check or bond is to be payable without condition to the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education as a guaranty that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the contract in accordance with the Bid, in the manner and form required by the contract documents. The bid security shall be forfeited to the NSHE as liquidated damages in the case of failure or neglect of the bidder to furnish, execute and deliver to the NSHE the required performance and payment bond(s) and evidences of necessary insurance coverage within seven (7) days after receiving the Intent to Award.
