Project consists of paving replacements in an existing parking lot. Owner's Project cost range is anticipated to be under $800,000.00. Bid security shall be in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Question Deadline 03/12/2024 Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as security the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid and shall furnish after the award of contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the owner, for the faithful performance of the contract in the amount equivalent to 100% of the amount of the contract. Bidders shall be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond and a twoyear maintenance bond conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract. Out-ofstate bidders shall be prepared to submit an Out-of-State Contractor Bond to the Iowa Division of Labor in accordance with Chapter 91C of the Code of Iowa Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. a. Work to Begin on: June 1, 2024 or upon completion of the last day of school. b. Work Substantially Complete on or before: August 2, 2024. c. Final Project Completion on or before: September 27, 2024.
