This project has a target for Targeted Small Business participation of ten percent (10%). Project consists of masonry repair per plans and specifications. Owner's Project cost range is anticipated to be under $200,000.00. Question Deadline 03/12/2024 Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as security the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid and shall furnish after the award of contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the owner, for the faithful performance of the contract in the amount equivalent to 100% of the amount of the contract Bid Security shall be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America, or a certified bank share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States of America or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders shall be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond and a two year maintenance bond conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
