Reference Number 0000342356 Cherokee County is currently in the process of seeking qualified concrete contractors for our concrete requirements in 2024. The County will have an ongoing need for concrete services to meet the infrastructure needs of county residence, particularly regarding concrete construction services to provide curb, gutter, sidewalk, slabs, and driveway on a unit price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity basis. These services will mainly support our public works department as they encounter the need as part of their maintenance efforts, but it is envisioned that other county departments may utilize the contract within its general scope of work and available unit pricing parameters. Anticipated Award Date April 16, 2024 *The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive technicalities and to make a selection and final award as deemed to be in the best interest of the County, including using any form of contract it deems most advantageous to the County. Pre-Bid Meeting : There will not be a mandatory in person meeting to review the requirements. The County has scheduled a NON-MANDATORY virtual meeting for the benefit of contractors who may be unfamiliar with Bidnet, and to answer any questions ahead of the formal question/answer portion of this RFP. Any specified meetings will be held at the Cherokee County Public Works offices and may include walking the designated work areas.
