Site work and paving for a civil project in St Charles, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 is providing an opportunity for qualified contractors to bid on the site improvement work at their Haines Center and Lincoln Elementary School. This bid period includes work related to site demolition, site utilities, earthwork, site concrete, bituminous paving, and fencing. Prime Trade Contractors for the work will be assigned to the Construction Manager, Pepper Construction A 10% bid security must accompany the bid and all additive alternates. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract value. Prospective bidders must have previous work experience on projects of similar size and meet the criteria established by St. Charles CUSD 303. Contractor's Qualifications Statement must be submitted at the time of bid or already be on file with Pepper Construction. Compliance with Prevailing Wages for Kane County and all equal employment practices is required. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the bids.
