Reference Number 0000265537 The Lester B. Pearson Building (LBPB) is a heritage designated building for its historical associations, as well as its architectural and environmental qualities. The facility houses the flagship headquarters and main offices of Global Affairs. This office building consists of mainly four (4) office towers on a common two-story raised podium and is located at 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, along the National Capital's ceremonial route. The purpose of the Lester B Pearson (LBP) Rehabilitation Project is to deliver a leading edge sustainable rehabilitation of a modern heritage building, while implementing required mid-lifecycle enhancements. These enhancements will include capital upgrades and GC Workplace Fit-up standards, which will support GAC's Domestic Accommodation Real Estate Strategy (DARES) for the National Capital Area. The Lester B. Pearson Tower C rehabilitation project is located at 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa. The Gross floor area of fit-up is 12,316.7 m2 usable space. The redevelopment scope of Tower C rehabilitation includes following design and construction packages: a) Work Package 1 Interior Demolition and Abatement b) Work Package 2 Seismic upgrade c) Work Package 3 Building Envelope upgrades d) Work Package 4 Mechanical e) Work Package 5 Electrical f) Work Package 6 Interior Fit-up Tower C Rehabilitation scope also includes soft & hard landscaping, precast cladding restoration and complete re-roofing.
