Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Falconer, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
CB 133 Precast 3 Sided Culvert and Wingwalls DESCRIPTION A. This work shall consist of furnishing, at the site of the work, a single span, precast concrete culvert and of the size, length, and height specified on the Contract Drawings. B. The intent of this section is to define the design and fabrication requirements for the precast concrete structure indicated on the Contract Drawings. While the drawings indicate the use of a Three sided shaped culvert, this is merely intended to provide the basis for establishing general dimensions and culvert/headwalls configuration. Arch Substitutions may be accepted if they provide, after hydraulic analyses by the Engineer, similar flow characteristics. Consider the span and rise dimensions as minimums if substituting an alternate shape than the arch shown.
