Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Providence, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Department of Administration, Division of Capitol Asset Management and Maintenance is seeking contractor bids for the renovation & repair of the north plaza (Smith Street) steps of the RI State House located at 82 smith street providence RI. The RI State House located at 82, Smith Street requires repair to its North Plaza steps. The North Plaza Steps are the street level entry way from Smith Street onto the elevated grand north plaza of the RI State House. These granite hewn steps have heaved and become separated from the marble and brick paved plaza. They have become a trip and fall hazard to pedestrians who access the State House from Smith Street. The steps require complete repair and replacement to make them once again congruent with the plaza and safe for pedestrian traffic. Question Deadline 03/07/2024 at 5:00 PM ET The scope of work for this project includes restoring the existing Granite steps leading from the smith street sidewalk to the elevated Plaza on the north side of the state house. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
