Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** Power Dam Pump Station (PDPS) is located at 2970 Power Dam Road in Rockingham County adjacent to the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. The current site is occupied by a raw water intake structure and a hydroelectric turbine structure that has been previously converted into an unfinished pump station structure. The objective of the project is to construct a new electrical control building and new mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation support systems that integrate between the two buildings in a configuration that will operate three new "Owner Furnished Contractor Installed" (OFCI) 600 horsepower pump units. 2,377 SF The scope of work includes installing pumps, fine screens with air burst, valves and appurtenance's in an existing pump station building; install FRP baffle walls, piping and valves for sediment management in an existing concrete basin adjacent to the pump station building; construct a new electrical building and emergency generator on the same site; install yard piping, duct-bank, and pre-cast concrete vaults for discharge piping and power; other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Owner will furnish pumps and controls integration services, to include select instrumentation and controls equipment, as owner-furnished equipment for installation by Contractor. The projects will conclude with start-up of the two pump stations and 90,000 feet of previously installed pipe by delivering raw water from the South Fork of the Shenandoah River to the Harrisonburg Water Treatment Plant at Grand View Drive west of Harrisonburg.
