Department Commerical Office Renovation, 7900 Chavenelle Road, Dubuque, IA This project involves the renovation of approximately 2,600 SF of commercial office space to create a new office location for the City's Information Services Department. Building systems to be modified by this project include fire suppression and alarm system, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and low voltage communications. There is no Pre-Bid conference, but each bidder may schedule a tour of the project site by contacting Project Architect Benjamin Beard at 563-556-8877 ext. 13 between March 5 th and March 8th. Attendance at a tour by prospective bidders is not mandatory. Base Bid Estimated Total Cost = $192,000.00 Each Bidder must accompany its Bid with a Bid security as security that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract for the work Bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety Bond, acceptable to the governmental entity, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The Bid security must be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the contract and must be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered credit union, or the Bidder may provide a Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the governmental entity. The Bid Bond must contain no conditions except as provided in this section. The City of Dubuque, Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
