**As of May 17, 2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** This is for building and classroom audio systems for Willow Run Middle School located at 235 Spenser Lane Ypsilanti, MI 48198. This project will be centered around Willow Run Middle School located at 235 Spencer Lane, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. It will be the vendor's responsibility to provide not only the hardware and labor needed for this project but also the configuration and full implementation and integration of the system into our existing infrastructure. To ensure that planning and configuration of the products are aligned to the district's needs the vendor shall establish regular meetings with the district on a cadence that meets the district's needs with the district's designated individual(s). The actual installation (including but not limited to mountings, wiring, testing of equipment, etc) will be completed by the vendor who will provide full documentation for the work. Every piece of equipment that is installed should be guaranteed to function and any failures during the installation phase shall be replaced by the vendor without additional cost to the district. Installation to begin as early as May, 2024 Project completed by August 16, 2024 Scope of Work: Assess the current infrastructure to determine the number of additional servers and zone controllers are needed to run the system This includes the assessment of power demands in order for the system to continue functioning in case of power failure Any infrastructure located in the Test and determine the state of the current infrastructure Integrated but dedicated audio system for Cafeteria and Gyms Integration into Auditorium system Understand the district's intention and desire for the project and plan with the district how to best execute the vision even if the district does not specify every specific requirement Integrate audio system into the existing Audio Enhancement EPIC system such that audio systems will be accessible through one platform Install audio systems with all the necessary materials, items, tooling, equipment, etc needed for the project The goal is to ensure that announcements and notifications can be heard anywhere in the building and on school grounds without disturbing the neighbors All classrooms need an audio system to enhance their voice and project audio from connected devices (interactive boards, laptops, etc) A kiosk for the front office needs to be installed for front office use A system and method of playing connected audio through the system needs to be installed and fully implemented Training and customization of the system with selected building staff Integration of notifications as SMS and/or phone calls Ensure the system is secure in alignment with industry standards and best practices A vector formatted map of the building with audio system locations with labels on unit type, model, and network path (network closet location, IP) All wiring should be labeled and patch panels have routing documentation for each patch Each unit and associated equipment should be labeled Test and ensure all spaces are able to hear audio notifications and every classroom space is working properly If there is a locking mechanism for the audio system all keys must be collected and labeled All wiring should be Cat6 or better and for every classroom there should be two (2) wire pulls All patches should be labeled with the location of the endpoint The vendor should work with the district to understand specific installation standards and district expectations regarding how equipment is run, installed, patched, etc.
