Renovation of a municipal facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Bid Security Form" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Village of Orion, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Village of Orion reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The Village of Orion is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract. This project contains the requirement that at least 50 percent of all workers performing work under this contract must be residents of Illinois. **Document Notes: Bidding documents including Drawings, Project Manual, Addenda, List of Plan Holders of Record, and Bid Tabulations will be available in Adobe PDF format at online starting City Blue Technologies, (Tel.: 800-747-6500). Bidders are strongly encouraged to register at online as a Prime Bidder or Sub-Contractor to ensure timely receipt of bidding documents and notices relative to this bid and be listed as a plan holder.
