Petersburg Community Fire Protection District will accept sealed bids for a new 4000-gallon water tank to be placed on a 2002 Peterbilt Model 357 Truck chassis (new water tank) which complies with the Fire District's. All sealed bids must be received by the Petersburg Community Fire Protection District prior to or by the above date and time of convening the meeting of the Board of Trustees at which the sealed bids will be opened. In addition to price, the bid must provide the brand/ manufacturer of the new water tank and all major components of the new water tank, the bidder's specifications for the unit proposed, and warranties which will be applicable to the new water tank from the bidder and the manufacturers and suppliers and include any proposed contract, delivery date and terms of payment and delivery. The new water tank and all apparatus attached must be compliant in all respects to the specifications for the new water tank and meet all applicable federal and state requirements. The Board of Trustees reserve the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Incomplete bids or bids not in compliance with the requirements may be rejected by the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees further reserves the right to evaluate, review and study any or all bids submitted, and to reject any bids submitted that do not meet specifications or exceed the District's funds budgeted for such purchase. If an award is made, it will be to the lowest responsible bidder after the evaluation of the same within a reasonable time after the bid opening.
