The Fallon Crossing Geologic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified individuals or firms (Contractor) to provide construction services and site maintenance for the GHAD, as listed on the attached bid sheet (Exhibit A). The contract will begin May 1, 2024, and extend through June 30, 2027. The GHAD may extend the end date of the contract period for up to two 1-year extensions. Ownership and maintenance responsibilities for additional open-space parcels within the Tassajara Hills development may be transferred from the developer to the GHAD during the contract period. In its response, the Contractor should indicate whether it is willing to bid on similar responsibilities for the additional open-space parcels within Tassajara Hills development. The Bid Sheet (Exhibit A) does not include maintenance of improvements within the parcels that have not been transferred to the GHAD The Contractor will provide general construction services that may include, but not necessarily be limited to, the areas listed below. The Statement of Qualifications must show that the Contractor has sufficient experience in the services listed below. The Contractor shall provide on-call construction services assistance in managing winterization projects, minor repair projects, and slope erosion mitigations as directed by the GHAD Engineer or its designee. BONDS. Contractor shall provide, if the contract price exceeds $25,000, at the time of the execution of the Contract, and at no additional expense to the GHAD, a surety bond executed by an admitted surety insurer in an amount equal to at least one- hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of said Contract. Contractor shall provide, at the time of the execution of the Contract, and at no additional expense to the GHAD, a surety bond executed by an admitted surety insurer in an amount equal to at least fifty percent (50%) of the contract price as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with said Contract. Sureties on each of said bonds shall be satisfactory to the GHAD. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
