Clymer Avenue and a Portion of E. Old State Road to Subbase, 2a Stone Base Repair, 3" of 25mm Wma Bituminous Base Course, and 1 1/2 " of 9.5mm Wma Bituminous Wearing Course. Two (2) M Top Storm Inlets Are to Be Replaced. Items for Sweeping, Installing Utility Risers and Joint Sealing Around Curbs, Manholes, Inlets, and Valve Boxes Will Be Incidental to the Project. Ada Ramp Replacement Will Be Bid as an Alternate Item. The Successful Bidder Who is Awarded the Contract Will Be Required to Pay "online" a Fee in Accordance With Their Established Fee Schedule. Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid, Made Payable to the Borough of Sellersville. Award of Contract, if a Contract is Awarded, Will Be to the Lowest Responsible Bidder, but the Owner Reserves the Unqualified Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities. All Current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications Will Prevail Over All Standards and Specifications Included in This Contract. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owner. LOCATION OF WORK: West Clymer Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Excavation of roadway to subbase, 2A stone base repair, 3” of 25mm WMA bituminous base course, and 1 ½” of 9.5mm WMA bituminous wearing course. Three (3) M Top storm inlets and two (2) C Top storm inlets are to be replaced, as well as the removal of a frame and grate inlet and replacement with a M Top Inlet with Type 4 Box. Items for sweeping, installing utility risers and joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes will be incidental to the project. The work covered under this project shall generally consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Excavation of roadway to subbase (West Clymer Avenue and a portion of E. Old State Road). 2. Contractor to furnish and install any and all grade adjustment rings on utility boxes and manholes as required. 3. Placement of Superpave, WMA, 25 mm base course. 4. Placement of Superpave, WMA, 9.5 mm wearing course. 5. PennDOT 2A stone for base repair). 6. Replace M Top of stormwater inlets. 7. Installation and maintenance of traffic barriers and controls. 8. Providing flag person(s) as necessary to ensure traffic safety. 9. Sealing of all joints with joint sealer as specified on the plans and within the specifications.
