The project, in general, consists of constructing an approximately 0.7-mile new trail; installing safety guardrails; constructing cast-in-drilled-hole piles; constructing concrete bridge abutments; constructing pedestrian-bicycle bridge and ramps; excavation and grading; furnishing, placing and compacting Class 2 aggregate base; furnishing, placing, and compacting asphalt concrete; clearing and grubbing; removing existing tree stumps; replacing and installing chain link fences; and installing various trail amenities; furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, mechanical workmanship, transportation and services, and all miscellaneous work necessary to complete said project.
