MHMR of Tarrant County (MHMR) is soliciting qualified, licensed HVAC Contractors to submit bids for providing various services on an "as needed" basis. The agency is seeking a standard hourly rate and overtime hourly rate, for each skilled position in maintenance & installation, from an established contractor with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial and residential HVAC work. MHMR reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of a bid or any and all bids, to waive minor technicalities, and to award the bid to best serve the interest of MHMR. Contractor shall include license information for each licensed employee who may be assigned to work on MHMR property. License information shall include licensee's name, license number, and expiration date. In the event the total contract amount exceeds $100,000, the Contractor shall be required to execute a performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the total contract price; if the total contract amount exceeds $50,000 the contractor shall be required to execute a payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the total contact price, each in standard formsfor this purpose, guaranteeing faithful performance of work and guaranteeing payment to all persons supply labor and materials or furnishing any equipment in the execution of the contract. It is agreed that this contract shall not be in effect until such performance and payment bonds are furnished and approved by MHMR. No exceptions to this provision allowed.
