**As of April 22, 2024, project was awarded to NORTHWEST ASPHALT COMPANY, in the amount of $5,025,239.11.** Reclaim Bituminous Surface, 46,987 SY; Remove Watermain, 11,600 LF, Remove and Replace Hydrants with Valves, 21 EA; Remove and Replace Valves, 21 EA; Remove Bituminous Surface 46,857 SY; Bituminous Non / Wear Course, 8,800 TON; New Storm Sewer Structures, 26 EA; Storm Sewer Pipe, 1,300 LF; 6"/8"/10" PVC Watermain 11,300 LF; 6" DIP Watermain 300 LF; 1" Corp/Curb Stop with Box 179 EA; Concrete Curb, 26,500 LF; 6" /8"Concrete Driveway Apron, 20,300 SF; Temporary Mailbox 179 EA; Street Signs, 179 EA; 1,000 Pavement Striping; and other necessary appurtenances. If the Contract is awarded by the City Council on April 2, 2024, it is anticipated that construction on this Contract could begin on May 6, 2024. A neighborhood meeting shall be held in Woodcrest Park (901 103rd Avenue NW) on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., and shall be attended by City staff, as well as the Contractor site foreman and superintendent. The purpose of this meeting is to inform residents of the intended construction schedule and introduce key Contractor and City representatives. The Contractor shall be given until September 13, 2024 (Final Completion) to complete all work on this project. Final completion is defined as complete installation of the asphalt wearing course pavement throughout all project areas. Permanent signing and striping installations and sawing and sealing operations are acceptable after the final completion date of September 13 but shall be complete no later than September 27, 2024.
