The Contractor shall be responsible for providing catch basin cleaning services in accordance with these specifications and all other City of Waterbury requirements outlined in the RFP. Contractor will inspect each catch basin, remove grate and/or cover and clean debris and sand from each catch basin (unit) being cleaned. Upon completion of each job, catch basins must be free of debris to a degree that will ensure their efficient operation including inlet and outlet flow. Such degree of cleanliness is to be reasonably determined by Street Supervisor of the Public Works Department (the "PWD"). Each basin cleaned shall be identified by a white painted mark on the basin cover. The Contractor may be recalled to re-clean any unsatisfactorily cleaned basin(s) without charge. All questions, requests for clarification and communications about this RFP and submission requirements must be submitted through the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received by 2:00 PM on March 8, 2024. Prospective Proposers must limit their contact regarding this RFP to the Purchasing Director or such other person otherwise designated by the Purchasing Director.
