Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sturgis, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Concord Excavating and Grading, Inc. from Concord, Michigan was awarded the project in the amount of $2,218,182.36. It is expected the project will begin by June 1st. This project includes installation of sanitary sewer, sanitary manholes, new water services, storm sewer system updates, and all associated items. Roadway construction includes removal and replacement of HMA, sidewalks, concrete curb & gutter, driveways, and a HMA pathway. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. In order to become a Plan Holder of Record Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents are available to be emailed in portable document format (PDF) for no charge. A pre-bid conference will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Sturgis reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Sturgis.
