Renovation of a parking garage in West Newbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Town of West Newbury is accepting Invitation for Bids (IFB) pursuant to M.G.L C.149 from all qualified contractors for the replacement of a roof at the Department of Public Works highway garage located at 694 Main Street in West Newbury, MA 01985. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "IFB #2024-DPW- 007 Roof Replacement." Questions concerning this IFB must be submitted via e-mail ONLY to: Procurement@wnewbury.org no later than Friday March 22nd, 2024 at 4:00 P.M EST. It is anticipated that the WORK associated with this contract will start no later than May 1, 2024 and be completed by June 30, 2024. Attention is directed to the min- imum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D inclusive. The Town reserves the right to reject any bid that is not in the best interest of the Town or cancel this IFB in its entirety if the best interest for the Town is adhered to.
