Renovation of a mixed-use development in Douglas, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
The City of the Village of Douglas, Michigan is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of an existing building to serve as our new City Hall and Police Department facility and/or qualified contractors for the construction of a new City Hall and Police Department facility. We invite interested parties to participate in this bidding process and provide competitive quotes for the project. It is the intent of the City of Douglas to enter into a Contract with the Bidder whose Bid is the most conforming to the RFQ and will be most advantageous to the City of Douglas, provided it has been submitted in completion and accordance with the Bid requirements. Bids will be reviewed by a committee, and the selected bid will be presented to City Council for consideration. If a Bid is selected, it will be the most advantageous regarding costs and other factors which the City of Douglas may consider. The City expressly Midwest Construct!on Renovation: $2,091,006.00 Midwest Construct!on New Build: $3,441,200.00 Wolverine Building Group $3,950,000.00 reserves the right to accept a Bid other than the lowest Bid and reserves the right to negotiate any terms prior to a Contract. City Council has the sole authority to award contract at their pleasure.
