SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Cold milling approximately 3600 square yards of pavement Placing approximately 357 tons of HMA Placing of pavement markings Installation of (2) catch basins and 12 inch storm sewer Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. EXAMINATION OF SPECIFICATIONS Contract documents may be examined online at website or at the offices of: City of the Village of Douglas, 86 W. Center St, Douglas, MI 49406 Prein&Newhof, 697 Ottawa Beach Road, Ste 2A, Holland, MI 49424 And some local plan rooms. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. Prein&Newhof Plan Room members who want to purchase the hard copy of the drawings only, may do so for $13.50 dollars. $15 dollar charge will be added to all mailed drawings and/or specifications. Fees are payable by cash or check only and are not refunded. COMPLETION DATE The project must be completed by Friday, June 27, 2025. If a bidder cannot meet the proposed schedule, please indicated on your bid when the project can be completed and the City will take this into consideration. The last day an addendum will be issued is three (3) business days prior to the bid. Questions to be addressed in the addendum will be received through 5:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the bid.
