Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Douglas, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of the Village of Douglas, Michigan is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of sidewalks, a parking area, firepit area, and restrooms at 201 N Washington, the Douglas Marina. We invite interested parties to participate in this bidding process and provide competitive quotes for the project. It is the intent of the City of Douglas to enter into a Contract with the Bidder whose Bid is the most conforming to the RFP and will be most advantageous to the City of Douglas, provided it has been submitted in completion and accordance with the Bid requirements. If a Bid is selected, it will be the most advantageous regarding costs and other factors which the City of Douglas may consider. The City expressly reserves the right to accept a Bid other than the lowest Bid and reserves the right to negotiate any terms prior to a Contract. City Council has the sole authority to award a contract at their pleasure.
