The project consists of the following major items: o Approximately 3,602 linear feet of 8" water main, 10,499 linear feet of 6" water main by means of open cut or directional bore as specified, including valves, fittings, hydrants and appurtenances. o Approximately 21,921 linear feet of street rehabilitation. BIDDERS ARE expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. Time of substantial completion shall be 330 calendar days including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. No bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be accepted or opened. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 90 calendar days. IN CASE of ambiguity or lack of clearness stating the price in the bids, the City of Crockett reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. The City of Crockett reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids.
