MSCS is Tennessee's largest public school district and is among the 25 largest publicschool districts in the United States. MSCS serves approximately 110,000 students in 207 schools. We employ more than 6,200 teachers and 6,000 support personnel to serve our unique student population while offering programming and services to fit the needs of all our students. Relevant, Rigorous, and Equitable Academics SCOPE OF WORK The SCBE requests bids for WESTWOOD HS ROOF REPLACEMENT. The specifications are contained in the Design Project Manual. Responses submitted must meet or exceed all requirements. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive. Scope of work includes, but not limited to, The complete removal and demolition of the existing roof system down to the existing deck at Westwood HS for Buildings A-F as highlighted in attached roof plan and replacing it with an EPDM roof system with tapered insulation. Full scope information located on page 14. TERM OF AGREEMENT The anticipated terms of this contract shall be up to (1) year. The work shall begin after issuance of the "Notice to Proceed. Estimated start time is 04/01/2024. The substantial completion date is 08/01/2024 and a final completion date of 09/01/2024. The new replacement will include, but is not limited to, raising the gas line, installing new flashing, blocking, counter flashing, drip edges, gutter, downspouts, walk pads, mechanical wall screens, roof hatch/ ladders, crickets, etc. GC will work with registered Architect, and both will work alongside MSCS, Roof Consultant NRC, for guidance and to ensure accordance with MSCS Design Planning Principles and Construction Guidelines.
