Renovation of a mixed-use development in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,364-square-foot fitness / recreation center.
The work consists of: Renovating the existing AIROPS and an existing gym (approximate SF of renovation is 13,364 SF). Renovation is to connect the existing gym and existing AIROPS to create three new main AREAS (1, 2, 3). AREA 1 will be an open area used for parachute packing with a new work counter to be provided between AREA 1 and the existing Paraloft Addition to the North. AREA 2 will have 4 new offices, with dimensions of 11' x 11' with full height glass walls. AREA 2 will also have new low walls for a new Workstation Area. AREA 3 will be a new storage area, having 8,000 cubic feet of high density shelving/storage. Minimal demolition is required for the PT/Rehab area. Also, interviewing the customer, space planning, cost estimating, specification preparation, basis of design selection, best value determination, finish selection, procurement, and oversight of the installation of furniture fixtures and equipment. In case existing furniture needs to be relocated, provide inventory, space planning and relocation of equipment to new facility. All building systems such as Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Fire Protection will be modified to accommodate the renovation. Pre-Propsal Inquiries (PPIs): PPIs must be submitted in writing on the attached Pre-Proposal Inquiry Form (ATTACHMENT F) to Jonathan Castillo at jonathan.y.castillo.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 21 March 2024 at 2:00 PM EST Contract completion date is 540 calendar days. Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
