Renovation of a municipal facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Work under this Contract shall require a General Contractor to mobilize and perform repairs or modifications at County Transit facilities throughout King County. Sites may include, but are not limited to, Transit Bases, Park-and-Ride lots and bus zones. Repair and modification work may include, but not limited to, furnishing labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, superintendents, and work and subcontractor coordination. No verbal answers by any County personnel or its agents and consultants will be binding on the County. Contract Specialist: Kelly McKeever, kelly.mckeever@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-9389 Alternate Contract Specialist: Alice Phoenix, alice.phoenix@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-9311 Not-to-Exceed Contract Price: $2,500,000 Work site: Various Transit facilities located throughout King County, Washington. The work performed under this Contract shall not exceed $2,500,000 and the initial Contract Time shall not exceed 365 calendar days from the date of Contract Execution by the County. The County does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or that the dollar amount of the Work Orders issued will total $2,500,000 during the duration of this Contract. At the County's sole discretion, this Contract may be extended for one additional year or until the Not to Exceed Contract Price is reached, whichever occurs first. The County shall review all Work Orders issued under this Contract with an estimated value equal to or greater than $150,000 to establish a specific required or aspirational level of participation by Certified Firms, Apprentices and or Priority Workers. Subcontracting Opportunities: Pavement Saw-Cutting; Asphalt Pavement; Traffic Control Services; Electrical; Utility work; and Survey Work. Apprenticeship Requirements: 15% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement of the total labor hours worked during the contract. SBE Utilization Requirements: The Contractor shall ensure that at least 15% of the total price for all executed Work Orders shall be performed by Certified SBE Firms over the life of the Contract. DBE Goal: The County has determined that no DBE goal will be established for this Contract. However, the County will require that the selected Contractor report any actual DBE participation on this Contract to enable the County to accurately monitor DBE program compliance. Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
