LLC, awarded amount is $7,508,719.50.** General Description: The work to be done in general consists of mobilization, traffic control, storm water pollution control, street pavement rehabilitation, pavement milling, cold-in-place recycling, placement of conventional and rubberized hot mix asphalt concrete, ADA ramp construction, traffic striping and markings, installation of High Intensity Activated Traffic Crosswalk (HAWK) Signal and Solar Powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) and all other work as shown on the Plans and as specified in these Special Provisions. The Contractor shall possess a Class A, General Engineering Contractor. Further, only a contractor registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to bid on public works contracts in California shall be permitted to submit a bid The DBE Contract goal for this project is 22 percent. All Bids Shall Be Presented Under Sealed Cover and Shall Be Accompanied by Cash, Cashiers or Certified Check or a Bidders Bond Executed by a Corporate Surety Insurer. The Bidders Guarantee Shall Be in an Amount Equal to at Least Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount Bid and Made Payable to the City of Concord.
