Chapter 30B and all other relevant procurement laws and guidelines, The City of Quincy acting on behalf of the Office of the Mayor, is soliciting proposals for the design, fabrication, and installation of a monumental sculpture(s) to enhance the landscape at a place to be determined by the City. The goal is to design a monument about the significance of the Massachusett Tribe at Ponkapoag and improve the aesthetic landscape with appropriate monument(s) and other designed enhancements. The project is being completed in conjunction with the expansion and renovation of the Squaw Rock area. The selected artist will work with the City and a designated design committee of the Massachusett Tribe to complete the 100% designs, construction, and installation of the sculpture(s) to be placed at a space determined by the City. The City of Quincy reserves the right to withdraw the Request for Proposal; to reject any and all submittals; and to accept any submittals deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Quincy. Bids shall be in accordance with any and all M.G.L. Chapter 30B. All Federal, State and City of Quincy regulations will apply. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids when such an action is deemed in the best interests of the City. The City of Quincy reserves the sole right to amend this RFP by formal Addendum. The overall project budget range established by the City of Quincy for the project is $400,000.00 - $600,000.00 for the completion of the project as described. The budget must cover all aspects of the project including the artist fees, fabrication costs, insurance, installation and all other related expenses. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
