Providence Health Care (PHC), intends to negotiate an extended contract with Pinchin Ltd. for continued Environmental Investigation and Consulting Services for the Clinical Support & Research Centre (CSRC) Project. The maximum value of this contract extension will be $495,000 plus tax. PHC has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but extend the contract for the following reasons Pinchin is the pre-existing consultant engaged for preliminary Environmental Consulting services for the CSRC project. Pinchin has worked with the existing stakeholder group at PHC for 5 years as the incumbent Environmental Consultant for the New St Paul's Hospital Project delivery team. Pinchin possesses pre-existing detailed understanding of current subsurface site conditions having previously completed numerous environmental scopes of work at the subject property at 1002 Station Street and 250 and 310 Prior Street, Vancouver: including detailed site investigations, soil and groundwater characterization, remedial excavation monitoring, post-remediation groundwater monitoring, and delineation work in support of construction activities at the site.
